What the Artificial Intelligence track is.
The hard part of AI work is rarely getting a model to produce output. It is knowing whether that output is correct, and catching it when it quietly stops being correct.
This track covers both halves: you build real AI-backed features, and you build the evaluation harness that measures them. That second half is what separates a demo from something anyone would deploy.
What you’ll work with
Three real projects, not three tutorials.
Every project below produces something that works and that you can explain. They are scoped to be finished, not to look impressive on a syllabus.
A problem-solving agent
Search and heuristics applied to a real problem, where you can explain why it finds the answer it finds.
A retrieval-backed assistant
An assistant grounded in a real document set, that cites what it used rather than inventing an answer.
An evaluation harness with real numbers
A measurement setup that scores your own system honestly, including the cases where it fails.

Include anything you’ve built, broken, or measured yourself, a repo, a project, a course you finished. We care more about what you’ve actually attempted than where you’re studying. There are no fixed cohort dates; we take a small number of interns per track at a time.
